Our Journey to Glamping

From the initial idea to an established nature experience – the milestones that shaped us.

2018

The Vision Emerges

After a trip through Queensland, the idea of combining luxury camping with the pristine nature of the Alps matured. Manuel Springer and Sabrina Windisch sketched the first plans for a sustainable glamping resort.

First Site Search

The search for a suitable property led us to the Salzkammergut region. Proximity to hiking trails, seclusion, and the possibility of ecological construction were decisive. After a year, the choice fell on a forested area near Lake Wolfgang.

Opening of the First Tents

Five safari tents with private terraces, wood stoves, and composting toilets went into operation. The first guests were thrilled – occupancy was over 80 percent in the first summer. The feedback helped us refine the concept.

Expansion and Recognition

We expanded to twelve accommodations, including two treehouses and a yurt. The focus on regional materials and solar power was awarded the environmental seal of approval. Today, we collaborate with five local partners.

Since opening, we have welcomed over 3,000 guests and plant a tree for every stay.

Why We Think Differently About Glamping

We believe that a true nature vacation doesn't have to sacrifice comfort. Our project combines luxurious accommodations with respect for the landscape – for experiences that last.

Nature as a Partner Each location is chosen to protect the environment and allow guests to truly feel the silence, the air, and the vastness.

Thoughtful Amenities From a bed with real sheets to your own terrace – we focus on quality you can feel, not empty promises.

Local Roots Regional products, short distances, and genuine encounters with local people make the stay authentic.

Less Staging, More Experiencing No overloaded programs. Instead, space for what matters in the moment: campfires, hiking, starry skies.
